Final Post of the 2011 Season

Amazing! That’s all that needs to be said about the 2011 season. Glorious weather and outstanding fishing – the best on both counts proclaimed by countless guests. “Best trip ever” was the catch phrase of the season with many already rebooked and more to follow.

I am delighted to report that not only did we meet our loyal guests expectations but according to their comments we improved them. A major contributing factor has to be Peregrine’s owners, Dave and Georgia, who shared their warm and generous hospitality with both new and returning friends.

There has been many additions to Peregrine over the last few seasons but none so special as the five new 22’ custom built Edgewater boats which were added to our fleet in 2011. These center console fishing machines featured onboard heads, canvas tops to offer shelter from the elements, duel electric downriggers, upgraded fishing equipment, top of the line electronics and an onboard sound system that keeps you rocking in between playing your tyees. The comfort or the ride and the power of the inboard 220 hp engines ensured our guests had plenty of time to maximize their fishing day.

And what about the incredible weather. This was a spectacular summer in the Queen Charlottes with calm ocean conditions and very little rain. Combined with the great runs of salmon, this was a season to remember. With strong rebookings, our guests have shown that they want to relive the experience in 2012.

On behalf of the entire team, Dave and Georgia Husby would like to thank all who visited Peregrine this season. We can’t thank you enough for your support and look forward to seeing you again in 2012.
