Trip #15 – August 8 – 11

August 13th, 2010

Peregrine Lodge’s guests headed out for their first day of fishing on calm waters enveloped in a peaceful fog. The gentle swell lapped the shores just beyond the mist. All this tranquility however, failed to alter the ‘amped up’ mood of the guests. Ready to feel the powerful tug of a Chinook on the end [...]

The sea’s were calm for this trip, with some very large coho showing up. The lodge record a 22lb. coho that stood for 15 years was broken when Chris Weber landed a 24lb coho, what a great fish. Lots of coho in the 14lb to 16lb size are showing up.
