This is our last trip for the season, the weather cooperated for us and Coho were still showing up in strong numbers,halibut numbers were also good. The largest halibut a 73lb caught by Tom Nellis, Chinook were also strong for our last trip with the largest being a nice 30lb caught by Evan Jouber.

Weather for this trip was your normal Charlotte weather for this time of year. Still lots of coho action on this a total of 130 to be exact and the halibut continue to be in abundance. Day one storm force winds shut down the fishery, on day two calmer conditions allowed all areas to be open.
Off shore coho’s at about 200ft of water between Green Point and Snake Rock, ling cod were also in the mix with the coho on the inshore of Green Point Tack.

We had calm sea’s and big tides for this trip, the coho and Chinook were biting according to the tides, with good results in fairly small windows of time.

Good sea conditions allowed fishing from Wiah Point to Jalun River.
The west side had some consistency with numerous tyee’s taken between Bird Rock, Parker Point and Snake Rock, 5 Chinook over 40lbs were the highlights, Coho are continuing to show some great size, with a 16lb,15lb and a 14lb making our top ten board.

The sea’s were calm for this trip, with some very large coho showing up. The lodge record a 22lb. coho that stood for 15 years was broken when Chris Weber landed a 24lb coho, what a great fish. Lots of coho in the 14lb to 16lb size are showing up.
