This is our last trip for the season, the weather cooperated for us and Coho were still showing up in strong numbers,halibut numbers were also good. The largest halibut a 73lb caught by Tom Nellis, Chinook were also strong for our last trip with the largest being a nice 30lb caught by Evan Jouber.

The strong westerly persisted on this fishing trip, although the sun was shining mother nature dictated our fishing area’s.

Good weather allowed for fishing in all area’s, Cape Edenshaw and Green point saw an abundance of coho, while Snake rock, Parker Point and Cape Naden had a few less coho , increasing your opportunity for springs that were mixed in with the coho’s. Weather was a mixed bag on this trip, with strong south easterly winds at times , but all things consider this trip was one of the best for Chinook production this month, Congratulation’s to Robert White who landed a 52 lb.Chinook. Over the past ten days the Peregrine Lodge staff have been getting everything ready forĀ the new season. They have enjoyed warm, dry weather.
Yesterday, our guides tested the waters with excellent results. 30 Springs were retained and 3 released. They also hooked several Halibut. It looks like we’re in a for a great season.
